So…this weekend, I had my first glorious, no-deadlines, no-edits, no-one-needs-anything Saturday. And how do I spend it?
With Gators.
We had friends in town, so we hunted down an Airboat tour! I strapped into an airboat in the Florida swamp, hair whipping around my head, heading out into the swampy murk to hunt down gators.
I’m loving being back in Florida while we wait for our Minnesota home to be rebuilt (and our newest granddaughter to be born!)
However, I’m being stalked.

In fact…they’re everywhere! Every night we settle into our hot tub, and apparently that’s the cue for our frog stalkers to gather for the show.
You know what? I did a thing. A big thing. A “Susan-couldn’t-stand-to-make-people-wait-any-longer” thing.

I know, I know. The original release date for the store wasn’t until next month, and honestly? I hate waiting too.

We went for our last walk on the beach today. (To be clear, we’re very excited to get back to Minneapolis and our people there. But we will miss our people here…)

Oh, how I love Fridays in Florida. (To be fair, I love them in Minnesota, too) and I’m loving them even more with this addition of this fun hot tub!
Hubs and I dreamed of a hot tub…we did not dream about the price, however. So…he came up with a crazy idea…what about one of those inflatable hot tubs?

Listen, I know a lot of you are cold. I’m praying for Texas and Minnesota and all the other cold, blizzardly places. Frankly, I love snow, and sitting by a cozy fire reading a book. But it can be dangerous…stay inside. Bundle up. Drink some cocoa. This too, shall pass.
