Hope you had a great week! Sorry we didn’t touch base last week, I was in Florida at a marketing conference learning way too much, and now my brain is exploding. But I’m working on advertising material for Creed, the finale book in the Minnesota Marshalls series!
I learned a few tricks last week and I’m experimenting with some cool new headlines and some images.

Listen, I know a lot of you are cold. I’m praying for Texas and Minnesota and all the other cold, blizzardly places. Frankly, I love snow, and sitting by a cozy fire reading a book. But it can be dangerous…stay inside. Bundle up. Drink some cocoa. This too, shall pass.

Now, before you get excited and think we’ve taken out a second mortgage–the car is a ’94. It’s as old as my Navy sailor. BUT, it IS fun.

My poor granddaughter had a close encounter with a very large bunny at daycare this week.
Because we’re a super compassionate family, we leaped on this picture like dogs to a bone. Had a family caption contest.

The problem with being an extrovert and a novelist is that to talk to people I have to make them up. In my head. And while, mostly, we get along, sometimes I’d rather talk to real humans. I looooove getting reader mail, and hanging out on facebook, but really,
Spring? Seriously? Last time I looked up, it was February! I admit–I’ve been head down working on a new book, out next February, so imagine my surprise when my son appeared on our doorstep last week, suitcase in hand, saying, “It’s Spring Break!”

YES! Which means it’s time to take time off and READ!
