Whew, what a whirlwind these past few days have been! I looked at my schedule on Tuesday and realized I only have ONE week to write my current book. Eeek! So, I sat down, hashed out the plot, and started writing! And while I didn’t finish the entire book in 48 hours like I planned,
Just call me Samwise…
(It’s me, Sarah!)
You know that scene in Lord of the Rings when Frodo collapses on the side of the volcano, the weight of the ring finally too much for him to take? The scene were Sam steps in and says his iconic line, “I can’t carry it for you. But I can carry you!”
What to do with weeds…
So…here’s the thing.
I like gardening. Or rather, I like the IDEA of gardening. And when I say gardening, I actually mean flowers, not vegetables (although I like those too). I’m the person who dreams of having overflowing gardens.
Dreams.
In reality….well, let’s just say that when I tell Hubs I’m buying flowers,
I made promises…
It’s me again, Susie May. I know you’re disappointed because my VA’s newsletters were so fun to read! (She’s also an author, by the way. If you’re interested in her books, check them out at sewarrenfiction.com!)
We had a fantastic trip to Spain and Portugal…here’s a pic of me on the boat,
One final hurrah!
Aaaand we’re back! Coming to you almost live from the Warren Basement! It’s your hosts, Spoopy and Sarah!
We’re catching up today with Susie and Andrew on their last leg of the 2024 Travel Olympics and they’re giving us a real show today. This round of the competition focuses on strength and endurance as they eat and drink their way through wine country.
Welcome to the 2024 Susie Olympics!
*Cue Olympic Theme Song*
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the International Travel Olympics! We have an exciting update on our star athletes, Susie and Andrew Warren, as they continue their thrilling journey through Portugal. Let’s dive into the highlights:
Here they are on their second day in Lisbon and Susie and Andrew are really starting things off strong with a trip to the National Palace of Pena.
The adventure continues!
It’s Sarah again, tuning in to give you the recap on Susie’s fabulous Spain adventure!
Days 1 and 2:
Susie and Andrew arrived in Barcelona. They tooled around the city in a Tuk Tuk, visiting places like the La Familia Sagrada, the Gothic quarter, and even the Olympic Village (very fitting for the week leading into the 2024 Olympics—which I’m probably too excited about).
Susie’s adventures in Spain
It’s still me, Susie’s assistant. Womp womp. As promised, I come bearing photos of Susie’s fabulous trek through Spain!
But first, just a reminder that One Last Promise released this morning on all our favorite non-amazon retailers. So if you, like me,
Sarah’s super exciting newsletter takeover
Surprise! It’s Sarah, Susie’s assistant/the mother of Bubby and Jojo.
Susie currently on a plane headed overseas to another one of her fabulous adventures, but don’t worry! She left Jojo and me here to keep you, and the boys, company:
And I brought a friend to hang out with them.
This is Bruni.
Oh, I’m in big trouble!
So, this is happening at my house.
Which means that I’m getting NOTHING done. (Except, of course, soaking in happy JoJo vibes.)
Story, what story?
I’m working hard on getting the rough draft of my current story to the finish line before taking off for Spain with Hubs on Friday.
