The Small Tragedy

Rel Mollet Books, Family, Food and Drink

We had a small tragedy at our house this weekend.

Not life-threatening, just…

Well, you be the judge.

I made my holiday rolls. I wish I’d taken a picture – but they looked like this:

I also made a batch of cinnamon rolls…

They were delicious. Fluffy and perfect—I would dare say…epic. I bagged up most of the extras and sent them home with the kids…but Hubs and I kept about 6 for the ham sandwich leftovers. (Of course)

On Friday, I took the bag from the fridge, made myself a sandwich and returned to my office.

And that’s when the trouble started.

THIS GUY didn’t have his reminder-to-be-good collar on.

He smelled the rolls. He stalked the rolls. And while I was busy editing a book…

He ate the rolls.

See exhibit A.

All the rolls. Gone. Not even a crumb remained.

(I know, Jojo! I agree. Cue the weeping!)

So, to cheer myself up, I read a book.

But not any book. I read THIS BOOK:

It’s the crazy, fun story loosely based on our family, celebrating a different kind of Holiday Season. I love this story so much. It’s funny, poignant and perfect for the holiday season.

I love what this reviewer said:

And so, I decided to put it on sale so you could enjoy it too.
