Such a great week of vacation – I read two books by the pool…

And hung out with my beautiful grandchildren…(I taught Bubby how to make a woven potholder – remember those?)

Hubs watched crazy soap box derby crashes with our grandson…
And attended the 4th of July in the small town of Forest Lake!

Sometimes, you just have to get away, right? We’ve already planned next year’s vacay, but there is something glorious about having a week with nothing to do but lay in the sun.
Sort of what Austen does after Declan plucks her the ocean…
Except her vacay doesn’t QUITE go as planned.
