You know that feeling you have when something you’ve waited for for a very long time finally happens? You’re so overwhelmed with joy you can hardly speak. That’s how I felt this weekend watching my oldest son marry the girl of his dreams. It was a glorious event, a beautiful day, with lots of tears, laughing, and joy. One story ends, another begins.

But this isn’t the only long-awaited love story happening right now. Ned came out today! Sweet Ned, who has worked hard to become a Navy SEAL. Well, his long-suffering girlfriend has traveled around the nation waiting for him to propose. OK, she was doing some other things as well. Like starting her own graphic arts career. And healing from the trauma of all the exciting things that happened in the Montana Rescue series. In book one of the Minnesota Marshall series he proposed to her and she said yes. But in book two she disappeared. And now Ned will stop at nothing to find her. It’s a fun story that takes place in Russia, Alaska, Montana, and Minnesota.
It’s also about the great lengths that God goes to find and rescue us. You’ll meet a very special character—someone we’ll see again—and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts. (And of course, old characters you love and miss might appear also!)
