Today we’re pointing the car south for a month of Florida sunshine.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Susie. It’s October in Minnesota. The trees are on fire with color and you’re LEAVING? I know. I love the fall colors too. Truly. But we are exactly one month shy of our six-months-and-a-day agreement with the great state of Florida. So, shucks. We’ll just have to go suffer in the sunshine for a while. 
And yes, that’s a U-Haul.

We’re bringing Andrew’s tools down to work on the house there. (Yes, he has that many. Yes, it takes a U-Haul. And yes, he is super duper excited to have more DIY projects in Florida.)
But this also means our DIY projects in Minnesota are… done. Done-done. Finished. Whoop!
(Yes, I used ChatGPT for that image because actually, I’m in my old yoga pants and I don’t look that young or chipper. Trust me, I did you a favor. 
But I do like how Hubs and I are co-driving. An upgrade from my side-seat driving. I know he appreciates it too.)

THE HUNT FOR ALAN MARTIN IS OVER!
That’s right. WEST, book 4 and the epic finale, dropped TODAY on all platforms! Finally, finally, you get to see what happens to Alan Martin. (Four books. Four continents. One very slippery terrorist. I may need a nap.)
And fittingly, the whole thing ends in Key West, the same week I’m headed to Florida. Coincidence? I think not. (Okay, fine. Total coincidence.)
