The cutest voter ever!

Rel Mollet Books, Current Affairs, Family

Today is Election Day, and I just have to say it: I’m so grateful to live in a country where we’re free to vote, and free to worship.

Years ago, Andrew and I served as missionaries in Russia, where people did not have those freedoms. I’ve seen what it looks like when your voice and your faith aren’t your own. So today, standing in line to cast a ballot isn’t just a civic duty to me. It’s a gift. And I don’t take it for granted.

Speaking of voters, here’s a picture of the cutest one ever:

Whoops! Not that one. 😊

THIS one!

Future voter. Already campaigning for snacks.

I hope you had a fun weekend. Ours was WET! While I sat in my recliner proofing my latest book to send to my editor, the epic King Tide rains besieged our yard (and turned much of central Florida into a pond!). Thankfully, we had no damage.

But it made me think about being shut up in our house during those epic northern Minnesota blizzards. Maybe that’s why I love stories about snowstorms. 😊

And speaking of stories about snowstorms…

Book 3 of the Call of the Wild series is out in the world TODAY!

I love this story. (And don’t worry: if you haven’t read the first two, I catch you up in the opening pages. You can absolutely read it as a stand-alone!)

A father who trusts no one. A woman who’s stopped trusting herself. And a dog everyone has written off. They’re a seven-year-old girl’s only hope.
Veterinarian Stormi White is sure she’s failed at everything, even her dog, Rome, a former K9 cadaver dog who lost his sense of smell. Then legendary Iditarod musher Wilder Frost collapses on her porch.
Wilder keeps everyone at arm’s length. It’s how he’s kept his daughter, Luna, safe from the men who murdered his wife. But when his past catches up and Luna vanishes into the frozen wilderness, he has to trust a woman he barely knows, and a dog no one believes in.
With a killer closing in and a storm descending, the deadliest distance isn’t measured in miles. It’s the space between their hearts.
Nonstop action, a handsome hero, and a heroic K9 rescue dog. Catch up with the suspense plot, meet a musher, fall in love with Alaska. I think you’ll love this one. 😊

GRAB IT HERE and wherever your favorite books are sold!

And a huge thank-you to the reader who left the very first review! It made my day.

We’re heading back to Minnesota on Friday. I can’t wait to catch the last of the fall colors and, hopefully… snow! (Yes, I’m that person. The blizzard-story writer has to do her research.)

Thank you so much for reading my books, for cheering me on, and for letting me into your reading time. You make this job a joy.

With love and gratitude,
