Merry Christmas from Susie May!

Rel Mollet Books, Family

I know you’re probably rolling out pies, or cleaning the house, or in my husband’s case, making gourmet ramen noodles for his sons who love spicy food…

And, the puzzling has begun.

Which means that we’re all about to settle in for a lovely weekend.

But, before I escaped with the family, I wanted to wrap and deliver ONE LAST GIFT.

I haven’t written an exclusive for my readers for a while, and this Christmas, I wanted to bring home one of my favorite, but mysterious characters…

Logan Thorne.

Maybe you don’t remember him. And that’s okay. He’s sort of been behind the scenes, popping up everywhere. We first met him the Summer of the Burning Sky trilogy as a fugitive from the US government. And, and then he appeared again in the Price of Valor WORKING for the government (more specifically Isaac White). And then there he was again in The Epic Story of RJ and York…as well as Sunburst and Sundown.

So…how did he get from a fugitive in Alaska to the head of a covert agency?

I might have gotten a few letters asking me this very question.

Now you’ll know.

Here’s a little about the story:

What will it cost him to return home?

When Logan Thorne said goodbye Tessa Plum, the woman he loved three years ago, he didn’t expect it to be forever. But, as a guy listed as dead and now on the run from the CIA, he can’t exactly show up in his hometown and restart his life.

Unless…unless he disguises himself as Santa, and just…checks in on her. He’ll make sure she’s okay, and then he’ll leave.

Really.

Except that brilliant plan doesn’t go according to plan, and suddenly he’s sneaking around small town Minnesota, helping an unknowing Tessa with a project like a Secret Santa.

Secret HOT Santa, according to Tessa. She doesn’t know where the man has come from, but she’ll take his help to create a magical Christmas for their tornado-ravaged town.

But what happens when she discovers that her impossible Christmas wish has come true? Can she let the man she’s never forgotten leave again? Even if it means saving his life?

Is there a resurrection for Logan Thorne?

It’s a short read – maybe an hour or so, just long enough for a small escape from the cooking and puzzling and lively discussions (or maybe that only happens at my house!)

But as I wrote, I thought of you, and hoped your heart would be cheered.

Thank you for all your support in buying, reading and sometimes even reviewing my stories. For passing them along. For your partnership in the ministry of inspirational storytelling.

And may, this Christmas, wherever you are, you know that God has not abandoned you. In fact, He’s sent Himself, in the form of Jesus, into the world to seek, and find, and save you. Because he loves you.

And that’s the best story of all.

Merry Christmas, my friend.

With love,

Susie May

P.S. The story is available on Ebook and Print. Only the Ebook is free because of the cost of printing. But I’ve made the print as cheap as I can. All my freebies are going through my SMWF store, so you’ll need to “buy” it – for free – but it’s the easiest way to deliver it to you.
