You sort of made me cry.
First – thank you to everyone who submitted a recipe! Soooo many great recipes…you made me hungry! And so many sweet entries accompanied by memories of grandma, or mom, or dad, or uncles. You got me thinking about my Mom, and all the love she put into Thanksgiving. And my Mother-in-Law, also in heaven, who made the most delicious stuffing I know.
I love that food is such a great unifier—I especially love that we’ll all be feasting in heaven.

I’m a huge fan of Lisa Harris. She was a fellow missionary (in Africa, not Russia, but still) and writes fantastic romantic suspense.
This book is from her cool Fallout series, (the prequel!) –ia super fun series about a town trying to survive after an EMP attack. Fabulous heroes, great plotting—and it’s grounded in faith. I think you’ll love it.

How’s that Christmas shopping going? Santa has been dropping off goodies at my house for a week now, (much to the dogs’ glee. They’re getting so much exercise!)
I will be missing this darling for Thanksgiving though. (deep sigh)
