Happy Friday!
As you read this, I’m heading over to my brother’s house to help throw a graduation party for his eldest daughter. Phase One of the Epic Warren Family vacation. Which I realize doesn’t sound like a vacation, but one of the things we enjoy doing together is helping others.
And I have an AMAZING team. Seriously—a year or so ago, we attended the wedding of my nephew, and it was sort of a “homemade” affair. Beautiful, simple, perfect. But, my sister-in-law needed help. A lot of it.
Enter Team Warren. We rolled up our sleeves and dove in, and I was So Impressed with my new daughter-in-law who took charge of organizing our work schedule. #skills!
We had a blast working together, and helped pull off a beautiful day. Sort of like an athletic event where the team brought in a win. 
In keeping with this Things Susie Found on the Internet While Doing Research series, I want to offer up this interesting video today about addiction.

It shows the power of relationships in overcoming those terrible addictions in our lives. I know when I’m sharing life with my people, my burdens feel lighter, my challenges feel easier. This is why I have a Mastermind group for my writing, business and life. Why I love to spend my weekends with friends, why I wake up on Sundays excited to fellowship and worship. It fuels my spirit and casts away the lies that tell me I am alone.
I am not. You are not.
Books can do that, too, in a way. Especially when you’re reading a book about family (or found family). You feel a part of something bigger. I think this is why I love writing about big families. Everyone has their own story, but they need each other.
We need each other.
Just like AUSTEN needs her family.
