Let’s try something new!

Hubs and I found a new market in town this week. It’s called “Thrifty” and it’s filled with all these international foods…

Like yams from around the world.

And so many mangos, papayas and fresh pineapple.

I love trying new foods, and I happened upon a new recipe site that I’ve been pulling so many nummy dishes from – the Mediterranean dish. (link)

This week I worked on a new, fun book, and the first two chapters take place in Barcelona…so I decided to pull out my tapas recipes. On tonight’s menu is Patatas Bravas! (and maybe a little red Spanish wine)

It’s always fun to try new things, right? This is why I also like anthologies – usually one of the stories inside is written by an author I know, and then I’m introduced to other authors also. Like these two anthologies.

Snowbound at Christmas is written by the amazing Lacy Williams (think historical mail-order brides) and 3 talented new authors.

Last Chance Christmas is written by Lisa Phillips and two up and coming romantic suspense authors.

If you’re in the mood for some fun Christmas reading—pick them up. I think you’ll love their voices.
