đź‘‘ Look, it’s Tuesday—and a Royal Visit!

Rel Mollet Books, Current Affairs, Family

I’m about ready to dive into edits for my third Alaska Air One Rescue book. It’s a fantastic story about the chopper pilot for AAOR (Moose) and a special someone who needs his help.

But before we get into that, I have some big news… The Queen of Ankeny paid me a visit this week. She stopped in just to say hi and give me her blessing. I was able to grab this epic shot of her.

Actually, we’re having a blast over here in new-baby-land, although I’m still pretty blurry-eyed, and my body now thinks that we go to bed at 4:00 a.m. and sleep until 10:00 a.m. It’s going to be a hard moment of realization on Saturday when I go back to Florida and have to get up at 6:00 a.m.

I am getting some epic late-night television watching in, which is something I don’t normally do. I watched “The Boys in the Boat” this week, which was fantastic. And for some reason, I decided that “Cowboys vs. Aliens” was the right thing to watch at 2:00 a.m. last night.

In case you’d like something better to do than watch “Cowboys vs. Aliens,” might I suggest book three in the Josey series, which drops today in the Susan May Warren Store? It’s called Get Cozy, Josey, and it’s about Josey and her cute little family moving to Siberia and the hilarity that ensues as she adapts to village life.

There are some true stories in this particular novel (of course)! My favorite is the one that involves the washing machine. We can talk about it later after you’ve read it. These three books will be out on Amazon but not for a couple of months. So enjoy them now from the Susan May Warren Store if you’d like a light-hearted winter read.

If you’re looking for something a little more epic, then check out One Last Shot, which came out in the store last week. Next week it will hit all of the non-Amazon retailers like Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple Books. I’ve been super blessed by the feedback on this story. One reader emailed me and said this:

I think you’ll love this story, and I feel it’s super pertinent to today’s world, where social media seems to be taking over our lives. The theme is really about finding your identity in who God says you are, and how that changes you.

The ebook is still available for pre-order at Amazon, and the print edition is also available for pre-order at Amazon and all your favorite retailers. Might I suggest you hop over to Baker Books, however, to get the print pre-order there? They offer the same discounts, and the shipping is faster.

So, if you were me and you were up in the middle of the night rocking an incredibly cute baby, what movie would you watch? (I would read a book, but my brain seems to fall out of my head that late at night, and I struggle with concentrating on the page.)

Put your recommendations HERE, and I’ll draw a name from everyone who submits. The winner will get a $10 gift certificate to the SMW Store!

The Queen and I thank you.

Have a great week!

XO!

P.S. The amazing and talented Jody Hedlund has a new book out TODAY!!!!! Have you read her yet? If not, that’s disastrous! She’s a fantastic writer, with swoony heroes and a fabulous voice. I read everything she writes!

It’s set in the 1800s and is about the bride ships that brought women over to marry heroes (or scoundrels!) in California. This story is about a rough-on-the-outside, hero-on-the-inside knuckle boxing champ, who will do anything to be with the woman he loves… SOOO GOOD. Another great read (instead of watching late night television! LOL).

P.P.S. And yes, MORE FREE BOOKS!

There are some really fun ones on this list!! Enjoy!
