I love this series!!! Though Conner really needs a book! I’m going to be spending my summer reading in a effort to finish off my TBR stack! There is only one SMW novel in that stack but that is only because all of the others have already been read! But thankfully I’ll have a new one in October!

  3. Christy says:

My summer will be spend getting accustomed to a new job. No vacation time in the near future, but I think I’ll survive. :) The rest of the time will, of course, be spent reading.

  4. CateS says:

I’m not sure what exactly this summer will hold. My hubby has retired from teaching…so we’ll just have to wait and see if we survive being together 24/7

My summer, hopefully, will be spent reading these 3 books which I have not read yet. I have read all your newer books and my favorites are the Deep Haven books.
I will spend my summer otherwise working in the vegetable garden, putting up pickles, hot pepper relish, etc. I love to give away produce and take some to the elderly in our church, especially one dear couple whose health does not allow them to plant a garden this year. We love sharing from God’s Pantry and each year He blesses us with an abundant harvest. We have all sorts of critters in the woods on our property and yet not one of them raids our garden! Thanks to God.
I am also spending my summer reading all the wonderful books I’ve preordered and are starting to come in; also watching several seasons of Daniel Boone!

After retiring twice I am working two days a week and doing machine embroidery. Every other spare moment I spend reading yours and other Christian writers ebooks.. For years I listened to books on tape and then when the e-readers came out I was over joyed since the fonts could be increased to a readable size for me and there was no glare. I was so happy when I discovered the Christian writers of Suspense and love stories. I can’t wait each month for the new ones to come out.

I’m headed to South Carolina to spend a week with my best friend and her family. And in July I’ll be volunteering for a week as a nurse at a summer camp! And of course I’ll hopefully be making a nice dent in my “to be read” pile!

  146. Summer is family time…this year we have two family reunions, a wedding, four birthdays, an anniversary (ours) and two graduation Open Houses. It will be a busy, but fun-filled time and we all enjoy every minute of it. Thank you for the entry and have a blessed evening.
