At first glance, HEIRESS seems similar to other series set in the Golden Age of New York. In reality, the book is like nothing ever written. The word “fantastic” is, perhaps, the only word that can describe it. Jinx, Esme and the full cast of characters are exquisitely well-developed, to the point, in fact, that it’s almost unbelievable that they are not real, historical figures. The plot twists and turns so beautifully, subtly and surprisingly that it turns HEIRESS into the definition of a “page-turner.” The creativity of the character’s evolution, the problems they face and the worlds they choose to live in are amazing.
